Christmas in St. Canice's & St. Margaret's

Christmas involved a coming together of all the churches of the Finglas parishes for the Penitential Service in early December. We then had a lovely Christmas Carol recital involving all the musicians of the churches and the parishes. We had a full enthusiastic attendance on the Sunday afternoon in late December. We broadcasted live to many others far and wide who couldn't be with us on the day. The Christmas services were hugely attended especially the vigil masses on Christmas Eve where we had the children's mass at 7.00pm. The Gospel was acted out by the young parishioners who headed home afterwards to await the coming of the Lord (and of Santa). The 9.00pm mass involved so many of the parish teams and the church was looking and sounding it's best over the festive season, with our tree and Advent candles. Our crib was a specially built gift to the parish and was complimented by so many who came to visit. Have a look through the photos to see how we celebrated Christmas in our parish.
