THE SACRAMENT OF PENANCE/CONFESSION/RECONCILIATION
The sacrament of Penance or Confession is a beautiful gift given by Jesus to the Church on Easter Sunday, the day of His resurrection when He gave the apostles the gift of His Holy Spirit by breathing on them and He said to them "Whose sins you forgive they are forgiven, whose sins you retain they are retained".
SACRAMENT OF PENANCE IN ST CANICE'S, FINGLAS
Saturday mornings:10.30am (except when the Mass is a funeral requiem Mass)
Saturday evenings: 6.30pm to 6.50pm before the 7.00pm Vigil Mass for Sundays
and upon request from any of the priests.

St. Margaret's First Confession Monday 27th February at 7.00pm

Last December in preparation for Christmas we travelled to the parish of the Annunciation, Finglas West and together with Rivermount Parish we celebrated our service of reconciliation as we prepared to make straight the paths to the Lord.
